Although I should be writing about knitting etc. I feel like this blog become less and less about that everyday lol. I almost wonder if I should just start a new one and go from there. I feel like I get into more escapades and get less and less knitting done the more I go along...who knows, maybe I've outgrown this blog, perhaps I should start anew...I'll give it some thought and see. I'm no longer the water nymph I once was, now I'm just another one of those crazy art students. Ah well it will all come with time.

End of the term...and FREEDOM! woo woo
So my term here is officially over and pretty soon I'll be free. I come home on the 11th, so to those of you who I haven't seen in awhile I'll be home soon! WOO. I hopefully will be updating this blog a lot more while home for the term just to keep all of my homies abreast of what's going on in my life, or at least I am going to try to keep updating. I've noticed more and more that people such as myself who are always distracted or somehow zoned out should not be allowed to keep blogs, it just seems to cause problems.
I have a lot going on in my real life but the lack of blogging is ridiculous! On another note though, I cannot believe I am going to be a senior in college next year, the idea is so frightening.

Ice cream and booze?
So one of our co-ed fraternities on campus decided to have an ice cream and booze party because tomorrow is memorial day, it is the last official party weekend of the term and it seemed like a good idea to them. However, today is Sunday and people are tired. Okay, well maybe mostly I'm just tired, because right now as I'm typing I'm going in and out of sleepiness. Anyway, I've never considered mixing ice cream and booze as something to be tried, in fact I've viewed it with skepticism and I WAS RIGHT! It is one thing to blend a mint chocolate chip shake and then add kahlua, bailey's or other sweeter alcoholic beverages, because they have a sweet component to them already. I , of course, chose to get a drink when they were out of everything good so I attempted a brandy, banana, and chocolate mix smoothie. I think it would have been alright if the kid behind bar hadn't completely over served me brandy. I drank that and man did it have a bite! God it was horrendous. Lesson learned, brandy + milk shake of any sort = vomit fest.
On another note I'm actually making some knitted sculpture of sorts. I'm using Anna of Mochimochiland's boo pattern to make bats or at least provide a basis for the bats I want to make and then I'm going to make a human to go along with the bats for a project. I'm actually kind of excited about it and pictures of it should be up after I finish it.

Been out for a bit but now I'm back
Jeez it's been forever since I've blogged, new resolution, do this once or twice a week at least. I mean I don't always have much to say but I guess my life can be interesting enough lol. This week was pretty rough in some ways, I spent Sunday and Monday night working on a skin sculpture that my professor wants me to add onto quite a bit which is sort of depressing, it's definitely a big sigh moment. FML right?! It isn't even the end of the term although it is so close it is frightening. I just want to get out of this term intact. It's funny though because this term isn't even as bad as some of my other terms have been I just can't seem to figure crud out enough to get anything done. I have had major sculptor's block this entire term. I'm also having the oddest boy issues yet, which are so weird that I don't even think it's appropriate or worthwhile to get into it. UGH.
I feel like in some ways I've gotten a lot of knitting done this term. I finished a hat for my friend's birthday, and a scarf or two. It started to die down once the term got more involved just because I'm always slightly sleep deprived and it just didn't seem worthwhile. I can't wait to go home though, I'm going to start myself on a regimen that shall involve good eating, exercise at least 5 times a week and knitting a couple times a week. I'm kind of excited actually. It does help that I'll be working and earning some serious cash which means that I can buy the ridiculous goth boots I am completely obsessed with. That's wayy exciting.
